From there, Party Echelon® can create a musical direction specifically for your celebration.
One of the biggest advantages of our repertoire is the ability to combine songs into custom live medleys.
Instead of always performing four or five minutes of every song, we can move through the most recognizable portions of multiple songs in succession—sometimes changing decades, genres, or artists without stopping the music.
A single live medley might move from funk into disco, then 80s pop, 2000s dance music, hip-hop, and a current Top 40 hit while the dance floor never loses momentum.
Other songs deserve their own moment.
Anthems, sing-alongs, special requests, first dances, parent dances, cultural selections, and certain crowd favorites can be performed individually in their full form when appropriate.
This combination gives Party Echelon® the freedom to perform like a true live band while thinking about pacing and dance-floor energy the way a great DJ would.

Does Party Echelon perform songs in medleys?
Yes. Live medleys are an important part of the Party Echelon® show. Multiple songs can flow continuously into one another with transitions designed to maintain dance-floor momentum. This allows the band to move between artists, genres, and decades similarly to the way a great DJ builds a dance set—except the music is being performed live.
Can songs also be performed individually?
Absolutely. Songs do not have to be part of a medley. Depending on the event and musical moment, Party Echelon® can perform songs individually in their complete form. Major sing-alongs, special requests, first dances, cultural songs, and certain crowd favorites often deserve their own full performance.
Can Party Echelon customize the music for our wedding or event?
